The future is looking bright especially with LED technology. The initial cost of LED bulbs is higher than traditional bulbs but the payback is very quick.
LED lighting is fast becoming the norm as old, inefficient bulbs get phased out. Juice Electrical Services can recommend and install LED products which use up to 80 per cent less energy than traditional bulbs and last over 10 times longer.
The process to manufacture LED bulbs is improving and Juice Electrical Services believes LED is set to become the preferred system in residential and commercial properties throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

Why change to LED bulbs?
For you it's all about saving yourself money!
Energy saving LED lights cut your electricity bills. Traditional incandescent bulbs lose up to 90 per cent of their power by producing heat that's wasted.
Long-life LED bulbs save money because they need replacing less often. The average lifespan of an LED bulb is 25,000 hours compared to 1,000-2,000 hours for an incandescent bulb, 2,000 hours for a halogen bulb
and 4,000 hours for a CFL bulb.
Low-maintenance LED lighting in commercial premises cuts down business overheads.
After installation, there are no additional maintenance costs for the life of the product.
Good lighting is essential in the kitchen. With an LED system you benefit from great illumination where you most need it and at the same time make worthwhile savings.
One of our customers has brought down annual household electric bills simply by swopping 12 ordinary halogen bulbs for the same number of LED bulbs.
The savings have come quickly. After taking into account the cost of the bulbs and labour to install them, our customer is nearly £20 better off in the first year, and we estimate that on-going annual savings could be at least four times higher.
Basing our calculation on an energy saving of 432 watts per hour and four hours of use every day, gives a daily total saving of 1,728 watts (1.728Kw). The same pattern of use 365 days of the year would save 630,720 watts (630Kw) of energy:
Here's the formula:
630Kw (energy saved) x 0.145Kwh (pence per kilowatt charged by electricity supplier) = £91.35 (ex vat) per year.
It's easy to see how the savings can grow and grow simply by switching to LED lighting throughout a property.
