Inspiring the Next Generation:
Juice Electrical Services Supports Little Gate Farm’s Future Ready Programme

At Juice Electrical Services, we’re always proud to use our experience to make a positive difference in the local community — especially when it means inspiring the next generation of electricians.
That’s why we were delighted to return to Little Gate Farm recently, where our Project Manager Chris Beeney delivered an engaging, hands-on workshop for students taking part in the charity’s Future Ready Programme.
What is the Future Ready Programme?
The Future Ready Programme is a person-centred, one-year study course designed to help young people gain the skills, confidence, and experience they need to move towards employment and independent living.
Students split their week between classroom learning and real-world experiences such as work placements, community projects, and employer visits — all with the guidance of job coaches who help them develop transferable skills and confidence in a workplace environment.
A Hands-On Lesson in Electrical Safety
During our visit, Chris led a practical session all about electrical safety and life as an electrician.
Students of the Future Ready Programme learned how to wire a plug safely, explored ways to stay safe around electricity at home, and rounded off the session with a fun, electrical-themed wordsearch.
The morning was full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and plenty of great questions!

“A Fantastic Organisation Doing Fantastic Things”
Reflecting on the experience, Chris shared:
“It was both a privilege and a pleasure to spend the morning with the students at Little Gate College. They made me feel so welcome – everyone was enthusiastic, asked great questions, and really got involved in the activities. Little Gate is a fantastic organisation doing fantastic things with fantastic people. If you ever get the opportunity to support their work, I’d highly recommend it – it’s such a rewarding experience.”
Thank You to Lewden for their Support
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Lewden, who kindly provided complimentary pens, notepads, and their ever-popular Squishy Sparkie for each student – a thoughtful touch that made the day even more special.
Supporting Opportunities for Every Young Person
At Juice Electrical Services, we believe strongly in the importance of giving back. Supporting initiatives like Little Gate Farm’s Future Ready Programme is a reminder that small moments of inspiration can have a lasting impact — helping young people gain confidence, learn new skills, and see the opportunities that exist within the electrical industry.
We’re proud to continue our partnership with Little Gate Farm and remain committed to supporting their incredible work helping young people with learning disabilities and autism prepare for life and employment.
Get Involved and Make a Difference
If you’re a local employer looking to make a difference, we’d highly recommend getting involved. Whether through hosting a workshop, offering work experience, or simply supporting their events, every contribution helps make a brighter, more inclusive future possible.
