Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Policy of Working

Created in accordance with the Government’s latest guidelines

Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save Lives

Juice Electrical Services appreciate there are great concerns relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and how best we can protect ourselves, our families, friends and work colleagues at this uncertain time.

We want you to know we are doing everything we can as a business to protect all of our customers. We are also particularly mindful of those in our community that are most susceptible to catching the Coronavirus, such as the elderly, or those with pre-existing medical conditions.

We are 100% committed to minimising the spread of this virus. We have already implemented numerous measures to safeguard our customers and ourselves.

These measures are being reviewed regularly and in line with government and medical advice.

Limiting the Risk
From your initial enquiry with us we will assess whether a visit to your property is essential or if the work can be safely postponed to a later date.

If the visit cannot be postponed, we will implement the following procedures:

Prior to us entering your property
In all cases we will notify you by phone in advance of our arrival so that you know what time you should expect us. Upon arrival we will knock on your door or ring the bell and retire to a safe distance of at least 2 metres and wait for you to open it to let us in.

Prior to entering your property, Hand Sanitiser will always be applied and in certain cases Latex Gloves and/or Respirators will also be worn, where deemed necessary.

During the works
In order to carry out any works we will need to maintain a safe distance of at least 2 metres from any occupants in the property. We will also need to ensure that there is good ventilation within the property, therefore the opening of doors and windows (whatever the weather) will be necessary to allow natural ventilation to occur.

Vulnerable occupants will be required to stay in a separate room while the works are being carried out. If this is not possible, then we would require you stay as far away from the working area as possible (2 meters minimum).

If someone in the property is extremely vulnerable or has symptoms

NO WORK will be carried out in any property which is isolating or where an individual is being shielded, unless your work is to remedy a direct RISK TO SAFETY issue or an EMERGENCY REPAIR.

If you are suffering with Coronavirus

NO WORK WHATSOEVER will be carried out by us should anyone have coronavirus symptoms, however mild, or where someone in your household has symptoms or is unfortunate enough to have contracted Coronavirus.

If you have any questions and/or concerns in relation to the above, please feel free to contact us.
